What's in it, and what isn't
This is the part people ask about, so here it is plainly.
It is made from Goat Milk Powder – a natural probiotic to support gut health and digestion, packed with calcium and essential nutrients. Coconut Milk Powder – rich in healthy fats that promote skin hydration and a shiny coat. Barley Grass Powder – loaded with vitamins A, C and K plus antioxidants that help protect cells and boost vitality. Green Spirulina – a natural source of chlorophyll, iron and protein that supports energy, immune function and coat vibrancy.
What the Muttcha does not contain: caffeine-free, no added sugar, flavours or preservatives.
That matters, because real matcha is not safe for dogs. Matcha is concentrated green tea powder, and it carries both caffeine and theobromine, the compound that makes chocolate dangerous for dogs. Dogs are considerably more sensitive to caffeine than we are, and smaller dogs most of all. So the Muttcha borrows the name and the ritual, not the ingredients.

What a dog-friendly café in Melbourne actually looks like
Plenty of cafés say they are dog-friendly and mean they will not ask you to leave.
At MORI, we mean the front of the café is set up for it. Water down, with room to tie up, shade in the morning, and staff who will say hello to your dog before they say hello to you. Under Victorian rules dogs stay in the outdoor area, so that is where the good spots are, and we have made sure they are actually good spots rather than the leftovers.
It is for the people walking back from the park, the ones doing a Saturday loop of Blackburn with a dog and a pram, and the regulars whose dogs have worked out which table is theirs.
Saturday morning is the best version of it. Dogs under three tables, someone's lead looped around a chair leg, a couple of Muttchas going out at once. It is a nice thing to sit in the middle of.
